Nutrition Analysis and Therapy in Houston
The Nutritional Consult in our office may be different from any other consult you have heard of or experienced.
What to Expect from Your Nutritional Consult
To better help our clients, our approach focuses on a deep understanding of you complaints and symptoms based on your body’s unique biochemistry.
We will ask you to complete a symptoms survey, keep a daily record of food intake, fill out a toxicity questionnaire, and may recommend hormone testing.
We use blood, stool, hair analysis and saliva tests for a wide range of hormones including all male and female hormones and critical adrenal hormones. The different analysis methods provide different information to Dr. Nagavi. For example, the difference between a blood hormone test and a saliva hormone test is that blood-based hormones are bound to proteins while saliva-based hormones are free – unbound. The active unbound form provide more accurate test results.
How We Use Your Unique Biochemistry to Develop a Plan
All individuals have unique biochemical and physiological differences so we tailor a diet regimen and supplement plan for each individual. This is very different from dieting. The goal is to teach and coach you to choose your food in a way that helps each of your organs work harmoniously.
This CNN report named “America’s Killer Diet” is a great reminder that most of the choices in your local grocery store are actually a bad idea. You need to be informed so that you can hunt within the garbage for the good choices.
